I. INTRODUCTION At present, the treatment of fly ash by major thermal power plants in China is generally carried out by hydraulic pipelines and stored in plains or valleys. Some foreign power plants have adopted the method of dry storage of ash, that is, dry ash is added after compaction and storage. This method is more practical for water-scarce regions. The dry ash storage method is still in an experimental stage in China. The steps of the roller compaction test method for the dry storage site conducted by the Beijing Gaojing Power Plant are as follows. The ash and water are stirred by a mixer, transported to the site by a special vehicle equipped with a sealed bin, and then the bulldozer will put the gray
