From an apprentice to the soul of the publishing industry, anyone who loves books knows the name of Shen Changwen. He was once the banner and soul of the publishing world, hailed as “a continuation of the spiritual pursuit of a generation and cultural dreams.” 83 years old this year, August 2014, his memoir “no storm nor clear” reprint. Global People magazine correspondent specifically contacted the interview after getting the message. When young people, the love of knowledge changed Shen Changwen; in middle age, his dedication to knowledge made him; in his later years, his memory was all those intellectual friends. His life, are dealing with books, and intellectuals. She has lived and worked in Beijing for more than 60 years. However, Shen Changwen, who is sitting in front of reporters, still speaks of the old Shanghai accent brought by her from her childhood. This accent, besides being heard in Shanghai movies left before liberation, can hardly be found in the present population of Shanghai. The old man has become a solitary life. What he tells about reading, intellectuals, is also the lonely.
