人工培养法得到的莼菜Brasenia schreberi J.F.Gmel.经热水提取,氯仿-正丁醇除蛋白,透析,乙醇沉淀,沉淀干燥物再经DEAE Sephadex A-25柱层析纯化,即得莼菜多糖(简称BS)白色粉末。经气相层析和化学分析表明,BS由岩藻糖、阿拉伯糖、木糖、甘露糖、半乳糖和葡萄糖醛酸组成。红外光谱表现出明显多糖吸收峰,紫外光谱表明无核酸和蛋白质吸收峰。BS能够增加小鼠免疫器官的重量,增加腹腔巨噬细胞的吞噬功能,还有促进溶血素生成与促进~3H-TdR和~3H-UR掺入淋巴细胞核酸的作用,表明BS有较好的增加体液免疫和细胞免疫的功能。
