作者在“金刚石钻头硬岩钻进规律的试验研究”(见1987年1期《探矿工程》)一文中,在理论研究的基础上曾指出,研究常规普通金刚石钻头的锐化方法对于克服坚硬打滑岩层具有十分迫切而现实的意义。目前生产现场采用的锐化方法主要有砂轮锉刀打磨法、孔底投砂研磨法、强力钻进法、冲击回转钻进法、唇面酸蚀法等。采用这些方法的目的都是为了使胎平面下移,抛光金刚石脆碎或脱落,使新的金刚石出露或新的切削刃形成。事实表明,这些方法使用得法是可以取得成效的。

Facts have shown that these methods can be used effectively.
