十六届六中全会闭幕后,各地省级党委换届工作随即展开。从10月23日西藏党委率先完成换届,到12月11日为止,全国已有13个省区党委完成了换届工作。另外,中央在近期任命王珉担任吉林省委书记、杜青林担任四川省委书记、卫留成任海南省委书记。据中共中央组织部部长贺国强透露,地方党委换届预计今年下半年完成14个地区,明年上半年完成17个地区。
After the conclusion of the 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee, the work of reelecting provincial party committees at various levels began immediately. From October 23, Tibet’s party committees took the lead in completing the general election. By December 11, 13 party committees across the country have completed the general election. In addition, the Central Government recently appointed Wang Min as secretary of Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Du Qinglin as secretary of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, Wei Wei as secretary of Hainan Provincial Party Committee. According to He Guoqiang, head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, the appointment of local party committees is expected to complete 14 regions in the second half of this year and 17 regions in the first half of next year.
