Editor’s note: In the previous sections of the education section, China Herald introduced one after another the educational philosophy, methods and related works of British architectural colleges such as AA, Sheffield, and UCL. In this issue we turn our attention to China and review the modern architecture of China The introduction mechanism of education and its evolvement process, at the same time it shows the current logic of autonomy of Chinese educators on architecture education. These articles, some contrasting the background of building education in China and Japan, analyzed the reasons for the lag of the start-up and development of Chinese architecture.
