大庆石油管理局勘探开发研究院和浙江大学古地磁研究室共同攻关的“松辽盆地白垩系古地磁研究”项目于1987年7月30日在大庆通过鉴定,有关地质专家和学者出席了鉴定会。会议一致认为,该项目研究成果奠定了中国东部中新生代沉积岩覆盖区的磁性地层学研究的基础,建立了松辽白垩系古地磁极性柱,是我国中新生代地层研究的重大突破。该项目自1985年1月起,到1987年7月止,历时两年半。采集了松辽盆地28口钻井岩心样品939块,野外地面露头样品85块,共作了2238块的分析,其中50%的样品进行了平行样测试,取得了以下成果:
The “Research on Cretaceous Paleomagnetism of Songliao Basin” jointly researched by Exploration and Development Research Institute of Daqing Petroleum Administration and Paleomagnetism Research Laboratory of Zhejiang University passed the appraisal in Daqing on July 30, 1987, and relevant geologists and scholars attended the appraisal meeting . The meeting agreed that the research results of the project laid the foundation for the magnetic stratigraphy study of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic sedimentary rocks in eastern China. The establishment of the Songliao Cretaceous paleomagnetic polar column is a major breakthrough in the study of Meso-Cenozoic strata in China. The project started in January 1985 until July 1987, which lasted two and a half years. A total of 939 core samples from 28 drilling cores in Songliao Basin and 85 outcrop samples were collected from the Songliao Basin. A total of 2238 samples were analyzed, of which 50% were tested in parallel samples and achieved the following results:
