It is often impossible to suppress the multiple reflections of seafloor in deep water by using the common-depth superposition method or the standard prediction deconvolution method. A multi-channel predictive deconvolution technique called “Radial Multiple Reflexing” can be used to design a Wiener day that predicts and suppresses multiple reflections at the water bottom. The efficacy of this technique has been confirmed by several studies.
