In order to effectively support the Tactical Combat Force, various micro-UAVs have been designed in various countries, ranging from portable drones that can be carried in backpacks to insect-sized “smart dust” sensors. These aircraft can be projectile by hand, deployed by large unmanned aircraft, or loaded with artillery shells fired as one-off sensors.
