Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ远程载入（ｒｏｍｏｔｅｌｏｇｉｎ）的功能对资讯的提供与应用产生了重大的变化。台湾教育部引进此一网路并建立了台湾学术网路（ＴＡＮｅｔ）之后，学术界利用国际文件传输（ｄｏｃｕｍｅｎｔｄｅｌｉｖｅｒｙ）服务的情形日益增长。文件传输主要包括电子及纸本文件两种。本文针对电子文件的［供应］及［取用］的角度探讨台湾学术界应用的现况及图书馆界的因应措施以及就纸本文件传输探讨对提供期刊论文服务的影响，特别是经由Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ连线ＵｎＣｏｖｅｒ系统之后，几乎改变了早期期刊论文索引、资料库服务的模式。本文亦讨论ＵｎＣｏｖｅｒ资料库的建立、连线方法、检索功能、文件传输方法、特点及其对图书馆的影响。
The functionality of Internet remote romotelogin has undergone major changes in the provision and use of information. With the introduction of this network by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan and the establishment of the Taiwan Academic Network (TANet), there has been an increase in the use of document delivery services in academia. File transfer mainly includes two kinds of electronic and paper documents. This paper discusses the current status of academic applications in Taiwan and the response of the library community as well as the impact on the provision of journal articles on the transmission of paper documents based on the [provision] and [access] of electronic documents. In particular, After the UnCover system, the patterns of early journal articles indexing and database services have almost changed. This article also discusses UnCover database creation, connection methods, search functions, file transfer methods, features and their impact on the library.
