Middle school students in our country can win gold medals in the Olympic Games in many physical and chemical competitions. However, in practice, the ability to use hands is often inferior to that of foreign students. The difference in educational philosophy determines the difference in practice and innovation between Chinese and foreign students. Our traditional education concept emphasizes teaching, learning, study, and research. As a result, the development of students’ potential is often overlooked at the secondary school level, which inhibits the development of student personality. President Shen Maode was inspired by the topic research carried out by Western Middle School and introduced research curriculum into the school’s teaching body.
