The issues I discussed in this lecture, may give some analysis of exhibition works to curators who organized the very important PanKaiKai Ink Exhibition with the title “Iron Casting”. My interest is to take Pan Gongkai’s work from the western philosophical and aesthetics perspectives and to create a unique appreciation of these ink and wash paintings placed in the North American mainstream art gallery space.
