本文论述了包头矿的物质组成及其特点。根据其矿石特点,制定了包头矿选矿综合利用新工艺。该工艺采用脂肪酸捕收剂浮选稀土和萤石,使之与铁和含铁硅酸盐矿物分离;随后采用不同的方法脱除剩余的脂肪酸和使用螯合型捕收剂羟肟酸(盐)进行稀土和萤石分离,稀土、萤石浮选尾矿采用细磨和选择性团聚新技术使铁和含铁硅酸盐矿物获得满意的分离。其半工业试验指标:铁精矿品位62.83%、含氟0.18%、含磷0.074%,铁回收率82.44%,稀土总回收率39.44%,其中高品位稀土精矿品位61.10%,回收率25.13%,低品位稀土精矿品位39.44%,回收率14.31%,萤石精矿品位含氟化钙90.22%,回收率11.10%。
