PNY unveiled the Geforce FX 5200 PCI in the extraordinary Geforce FX series. This card not only supports DirectX 9, not using the AGP slot but using a PCI slot. As a result, this 128-megapixel video card is appealing at first to those who do not have an AGP slot on the motherboard. The PCI interface at 132 megabytes per second is just a fraction of the amount of data passed per second through the AGP interface. 8x AGP interface can transmit 2G data per second. The PNY card is still slower than the Radeon9200 Vivo on the Benchmark test over the weaker 128-megapixel AGP interface.
