The phosphomolybdic heteropoly acid modified electrode was introduced for the determination of phosphorus in fertilizers. The determination results are consistent with the spectrophotometry and gravimetric method. Taking the determination of total phosphorus in fertilizer as an example, the relative standard deviation (n = 6) was 2.06% and the recovery rates were 97.6% -102.06 respectively. Under the optimal conditions, the concentration of phosphorus (P) was linear with the first oxidation peak in the range of 0.05-30μg / ml and the detection line was lower than 0.05μg / ml.
