In this paper, a new type of fiber optic gyroscope with a short-term drift of less than 0.1 ° / h, consisting of three Lyot depolarizers and a standard single-mode fiber ring is reported. In 3.5 / hour x 6 runs, the gyroscope exhibits a low long-term drift of less than 0.35 degrees per hour (1σ).
