课外阅读是小学英语课程教育教学中的一项重要内容,良好、有效的课外阅读对拓宽学生视野,促进其英语知识积累,培养学生知识运用能力以及提高其学习水平等均具有重要作用。但现阶段,在我国许多小学英语课程教学中,教师多将教学重点放在课堂教学活动中,对学生的英语课外阅读并不重视,导致大多数学生在日常生活中与英语接触较少,课外阅读兴趣不高,自主学习效果不佳;故当前环境下,教师在小学英语教学中需在保证课堂教学的基础上,采取一系列有效措施培养学生课外阅读兴趣,增强学生自主学习能力,提高教学效果。本文主要从小学生英语课外阅读的必要性出发进行深入分析,研究并探讨了新时期背景下培养学生课外阅读兴趣的有效路径。 Extracurricular reading is an important part of primary English teaching and learning. A good and effective extracurricular reading plays an important role in broadening students’ horizons, promoting their accumulation of English knowledge, developing students’knowledge of using knowledge and improving their learning level. However, at present, in many primary English teaching in our country, many teachers focus their teaching on classroom teaching activities and do not attach importance to students’ extracurricular reading. As a result, most students have less contact with English in their daily life. Therefore, under the current circumstances, teachers should take a series of effective measures to improve students ’interest in extracurricular reading, enhance students’ ability to learn independently, and improve their teaching ability in primary English teaching effect. This paper mainly analyzes the necessity of extracurricular English reading for primary school students, and studies and discusses the effective ways of cultivating students’ interest in extracurricular reading in the new era.
