Objective: To investigate the quality of life and its influencing factors in elderly AIDS patients who have side effects after taking antiretroviral (ARV) drugs and provide the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to analyze and summarize the quality of life and its influencing factors in elderly patients aged> 50 years. Results: A total of 92 cases were included in the analysis. The main adverse reactions are hematological toxicity, gastrointestinal toxicity and hyperlipidemia. The overall quality of life and health of patients were significantly lower than that of the general population, and the impact of AIDS on physical, psychological and social relationships was more obvious (P <0.05). Women scored lower than men in the field of independence and social relations, and scored higher than men in other fields, with no significant difference. Regression analysis showed that age, gender, marital status, smoking, alcohol consumption, education level, CD4 + T segment, different illnesses and treatment regimen had less effect on QOL (F = 1.15, P> 0.05). Conclusion: The overall quality of life and health condition of patients with HIV / AIDS complicated by drug over 50 years old were significantly lower than those of the general population. No significant differences were found in age, sex, educational level, CD4 + T segment, different symptoms and treatment regimens Patients have a significant impact on quality of life.
