I. INTRODUCTION The best design of a communication system is closely related to the channel characteristics. Therefore, the study of channel model is the basis for the design and simulation of communication system. The troposcatter channel is a random time-varying channel. Although the general model for stochastic time-varying channels has long been proposed by Kailath and Bello, the quantitative description of the scattering channel model is still behind the data. The data extends Bello’s model to a wider range of channel conditions. This paper first discusses the tropospheric scattering channel model, given some of the results, and then illustrate the communication system design and testing
