长期以来,人们研究建筑结构(实际是整个土木工程领域)的安全度问题,都是采用定值理论。自本世纪二十年代起,安全度问题的研究开始采用非定值理论,其数学工具是概率论和数理统计学。而近十年来,这方面的工作取得了显著的进展,有些成果已能应用于工程实践,这种突破是非常可喜的。本文将介绍的结构安全度二次矩理论,就是近几年来在近似概率理论方面所取得的重要成果之一。
For a long time, people have studied the safety of building structures (actually the entire civil engineering field), and they have adopted fixed value theory. Since the 1920s, the study of safety issues has adopted the theory of definite value, and its mathematical tools are probability theory and mathematical statistics. In the past decade, remarkable progress has been made in this area of work. Some results have been applied to engineering practice. This breakthrough is very encouraging. The second-order moment theory of structural safety introduced in this paper is one of the important achievements in the theory of approximate probability in recent years.
