After the German government banned the use of 20 kinds of aromatic amines and corresponding 118 kinds of dyes on July 15, 1994, it caused widespread concern in various countries in the world. At present, more than 30 countries and regions such as the EU and China have formulated relevant standards on the types and contents of chemicals in textiles. In particular, over 20 aromatic amines are banned and as many as 300 kinds of dyes are involved. According to sources from Japan, in order to protect consumers, Japan will also begin to plan to limit the import and use of textiles and clothing products containing banned azo dyes. Enterprises should pay close attention to the development trend of the market requirements, and have the appropriate measures to actively respond to the risk to minimize.
