根据南京直立人洞穴钙板方解石的 TIMS测年 ,南京直立人化石的年代应早于距今 50万年。南京猿人洞穴堆积所含哺乳动物化石和孢粉分析 ,表明含人类化石的堆积形成于冷期 ;哺乳动物化石的比较分析和聚类分析认为含南京直立人化石层可对比于北京猿人洞穴堆积的第6层和深海岩芯氧同位素记录的 1 4阶段 ,从而进一步支持南京直立人化石时代早于 50万年的TIMS测年结果。
According to the TIMS dating of Calcite Calcite in Nanjing Orthodox Cave, the age of Nanjing Homo erectus fossils should be earlier than 500,000 years. The analysis of mammalian fossils and sporo-pollen assemblages contained in Nanjing ape-man cave shows that the accumulation of human fossils formed during the cold-period. The comparative analysis and cluster analysis of mammalian fossils suggested that the Nanjing fossilized man-made fossils could be compared with that of Beijing ape-man cave Stage 6 and deep-sea core oxygen isotopes, further supporting the TIMS dating of up to 500,000 years in the Nanjing Homo fossil era.
