介绍了玻利维亚共和国的地形特点、铁路、机车车辆以及今后的铁路规划。玻利维亚国营铁路有东、西两条独立的干线,线路总长为3652km、轨距1000mm;有内燃机车52台、内燃动车13辆。其主型内燃机车是从日本进口的DE1000型和DE950型电传动机车。还介绍了维亚查、奥鲁罗内燃机车检修厂、瓜基港蒸汽机车修理厂和世界最高的客运站——坎多尔的铁路情况。
Introduced the terrain features of the Republic of Bolivia, railways, rolling stock and future railway plans. The Bolivian State-owned Railway has two separate trunk lines, east and west. The total length of the line is 3652 km and the gauge distance is 1000 mm. There are 52 diesel locomotives and 13 diesel-powered vehicles. Its main diesel locomotive is the DE1000 and DE950 electric locomotives imported from Japan. Also introduced the case of Viagra, Oruro diesel locomotive overhaul factory, Guigang steam locomotive repair shop and the world’s highest terminal - the railway situation in Candol.
