According to the latest earthquakes statistics from the IRIS DMC from the CDSN DMC of the Institute of Geophysics, China Earthquake Administration, the latest earthquakes data are collected from the United States Seismological Association Data Management Center (IRIS DMC). In July 2009, a total of 142 earthquakes with M≥5.0 occurred globally. Among them, M 5 ~ 5.9 moderately strong shock 135 times; M 6.0 ~ 7.9 strong earthquakes 7 times; no more than 8 magnitude earthquakes. Of the 142 moderate-intensity earthquakes of the month, 114 M5-5.5 earthquakes and M 5.6-5.9 earthquakes were 21 times. Five times of the month
