弹轮是中国扬琴演奏中最具特色和代表性的技法之一,它广泛运用于各传统流派中,是广东音乐扬琴演奏中不可缺少的演奏技法之一。所谓弹轮,就是在通过手腕一次性用力向下甩动琴竹的同时,大指下压,中指部位收紧,利用琴竹杆的自然弹力而产生连续密集的音点。弹轮时,手腕和手指同时用力后不可放松。顺势落到所弹之音上,将力量一点点的慢慢放开。用力时手腕随琴竹与琴弦之间的幅度而向下,直到最后一个音消失后再把整个手放松。当扬琴弹奏表现明快、跳跃等乐句及风格性乐曲的时候,弹轮是不可缺少的一种技法,其常运用与左手。
