B淋巴细胞刺激因子(BLyS)是肿瘤坏死因子超家族成员之一,其通过与细胞表面的受体结合而发挥重要的免疫调节作用。BLyS的过量表达能引起机体的免疫失衡,进而诱发类风湿性关节炎(RA)等自身免疫疾病。以BLyS及其受体为靶点的生物制剂,在对RA及其动物模型的治疗中已取得良好效果,BLyS拮抗剂有望成为RA治疗的有效药物。
B lymphocyte stimulating factor (BLyS) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily that plays an important immunomodulatory role by binding to receptors on the cell surface. Overexpression of BLyS can cause the body’s immune imbalance, which in turn induces autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Biological agents targeting BLyS and its receptors have yielded good results in the treatment of RA and its animal models and BLyS antagonists are expected to be effective agents for the treatment of RA.
