Introduction One of the current trends in power machinery is to improve its operational reliability, working life and economy. Proceeding from improving the management quality of machinery, a series of modernized monitoring and diagnosis are taken to seek the best operation condition and maintenance plan. The operational reliability of a system of installations or of a component is defined as the probability of satisfactorily performing its function under a given environmental condition over a specified period of operation. Failure rate refers to the probability that the function can not be completed in whole or in part under the specific conditions.
