A new type of stainless steel, called Model 7000 S 203 stainless steel, reportedly came from Capitol Craft, Inc., of Sedin, Pennsylvania, USA, has superior machinability. This new type of stainless steel is expected to achieve a ductility that is between 30% and 50% higher than a typical Type 203 stainless steel and significantly better machinability than is possible with the Model 203 203 stainless steel. Known for its high-speed cutting performance. Capitol explains that this new stainless steel, similar in physical and mechanical properties to Type 303 stainless steel, is a recent addition to the company’s recently introduced Series 7000 stainless steel.
