对于当今先进的工艺,在设计通信设备时,基本三角函数已不再是必需的了。现在,沃尔什函数近乎提供了一种可能的新颖而高明的技术。 通信理论过去是建立在正弦—余弦函数系的基础上,而在现今大家所熟悉的一种更一般的理论中,以正交函数系代替了正弦—余弦函数,以列举的概念代替了频率的概念。在这些函数系中,沃尔什函数具有很大的实用价值,因为它使得设备用半导体工艺极易制造。滤波器、多路复用设备以及声音分析器/合成器都成功地按照沃尔什函数制造出来了。在理论上还发现了沃尔什电磁波的一些有趣的应用。
For today’s advanced technology, basic trigonometry is no longer necessary when designing communications equipment. The Walsh function now offers almost a possible new and clever technique. Communication theory used to be based on sine-cosine functions. In a more general theory familiar to us today, the sine-cosine function is replaced by an orthonormal function, replacing the frequency by the enumerated concept concept. Among these functions, the Walsh function has great practical value because it makes the device easy to fabricate in a semiconductor process. Filters, multiplexing equipment, and sound analyzer / synthesizer were successfully built using the Walsh function. In theory, some interesting applications of Walsh electromagnetic waves have also been discovered.
