当下中国的文化观念是由中国市场观念、中国现代文化性格观念、文化领导权观念构成的。中国市场观念形成于20世纪90年代的全球化大讨论,又经过了对中国市场社会发展过程中出现的种种矛盾的反思,已经扬弃了最初的单一经济观,转化成了规范市场社会的经济、政治、文化的价值观念,从而成了当下中国文化观念的一个基本要素;中国现代文化性格观念是伴随着中国的现代性批判而产生出来的,它的出现,标志着中国人的精神世界已经走出了科学主义的思维藩篱,走向了现代人文精神,从崇尚近代性主义转向崇尚现代文化理性;文化领导权观念建构于“软实力”的讨论,它包含了当代中国人的新的世界历史观和对中国意识形态的文化领导权诉求。这三个观念的形成和变化表明,中国人正在修正先前片面的经济发展观,开始建构有机整体的文化发展观。
