The binding energy of 1654 nuclei was calculated with the relativistic mean field theory considering the volume effect of finite nuclei and compared with the experimental values. The average behavior of the calculated results is very similar to the corresponding experimental values, with a systematic deviation of 5.74% The mean square deviation of the deviations between the nuclear energy per nucleus of 1654 nuclei and the experimental value was 0.466 MeV.
