INVISTA announces its intent to expand itsairbag and industrial fiber manufacturingplant in the Qingpu District of Shanghai,eastern China. Plans are being drawn up forthe plant which produces high-tenacity nylon6,6 fiber used primarily for airbags todouble its capacity by 2013,making it thelargest airbag fiber plant in the region.INVISTA announced this news at the InternationalTrade Fair for Technical Textilesand Nonwovens (Cinte Techtextil China)held from October 19th to October 21st inShanghai.
