用中间－石蜡基新疆混合原油的丙烷脱油沥青与富芳贫蜡改性剂调合，可生产出符合国家标准ＧＢ／Ｔ１５１８０－９４要求的各种牌号重交通道路沥青。沥青的路用性能研究表明，常用的９０号调合沥青与新加坡９０号重交通道路沥青相当。用９０号调合沥青在西安铺筑了试验路，通过１年多的使用观测，未发现沉陷、裂纹、拥包、车辙等现象，路况良好，回弹模量等６项路用性能指标也全部符合设计和规范要求。实践表明，研制的沥青完全可以用于高等级公路建设。
