《普通高中数学课程标准(实验)》明确提出,数学教学要“注重数学知识与实际的联系,发展学生的应用意识和能力”.强调学校数学教育具有现实的性质,即数学来自现实生活,再应用到现实生活中去;要求学生应该用现实的方法学习数学,即学生通过熟悉的现实生活自己逐步发现和得出数学结论.要做到这一点,笔者以为,一要培养学生用数学的意识,即用数学的眼光、从数学的角度观察事物、阐述现象和分析问题;二要发展学生用数学的能力,即提高学生从实际问题(情境)中提出并表达数学问题的能力,运用并初步构建数学模型的能力,对数学问题及模型进行变换的能力,对数学结果进行检查、评价和处理的能力.
