断屑,通常采用的方法是在车刀前面磨一凹糟。这种方法的缺点是:既降低了刀头的强度,又增加了硬质合金的消耗。为此,我厂曾参考了国外资料,设计出几种附加式独立调整的断屑器。这几种断屑器经实际使用证明,效果比磨凹槽的方法好。但也存在一个缺点,即工作时,断屑器应随着切削用量的改变而加以调整,不仅使辅助工时增加,而且应用也不太方便。针对这个缺点,我们改进了一种自动调整的断屑器。自动调整断屑器的构造图中1是断屑器主体,用螺钉固定在车床的四方刀架上。2是主轴,装在主体1的孔内,并用螺帽3和像皮垫圈4固
