谢云先生以墨为文,以笔为质,“先文而后墨”。谢云是复合型艺术家,他是诗人、书法家,迩来作画,也是出手不凡,引人遐思。由于他在中国书法家协会担任过秘书长,他的书名更被世人重视,人前称书法家的时候,远远多于被称为诗人的时候。谢云的两本书法集,还有诗稿集,均是我的案边书。有时间就会不自觉地翻开,细细读来,意味无穷。对当代书法领域的潮流和现象,我不陌生,我也了解谢云书法与书法界的书法所存在的距离。在我看来,谢云的书法是能够阅读的书法,是高度人格化的书法,是胎 Mr. Xie Yun ink for the text, pen-based, “before the text ink ”.
