The animated short film “The Fish Never Sleeps,” produced by the Royal Academy of Arts, uses dramatic techniques to skillfully connect fish to people who are under stress and whose lives are under pressure. The characteristic of the fish is that all eyes are open and sleepless, which leads to the killing and slavery. In a society where everyone is stressed, anxiety, irritability, melancholy and other emotions lead to a decline in the quality of people’s sleep. The protagonist escapes the vicious circle of life like a fish. Fast-paced lifestyle allows people to lose their sleep, and urban people lack the wisdom to move forward and backward, can only imagine the “peasant women, spring, a bit sweet” pastoral life.
