北京图书馆新馆基本书库(图1),位于新馆环形建筑群之中,四周与F、D、B、G、H栋相连,共22层,地下3层,地上19层,建筑面积50382m~2,总高67.59m。书库基础为箱形结构,坐落在卵石层上,±0.00以上为壁式框架结构,1~5层平面近似方形,6~17层为标准层,平面呈H形,分中部和南、北两翼三部分。外墙为40cm厚现浇轻混凝土,现浇独立柱每层36根,5cm厚现浇双向密肋楼板,四周与墙铰接。南、北两翼高19层,为现浇混凝土大屋顶上作孔雀蓝色琉璃瓦盝顶。
The basic library of the New Library of Beijing Library (Figure 1) is located in the circular building of the new building and is surrounded by buildings F, D, B, G, and H.
