The purpose of building ventilation is to provide the fresh air that people breathe or to reduce indoor temperatures during the summer months. The production and maturity of air-conditioning technology enables people to create an independent microclimate in a completely enclosed space, keeping indoor temperature and humidity within a relatively comfortable range. However, air conditioning is not a panacea, and its negative impact on the widespread use of modern architecture has caused people’s vigilance and started to study the corresponding solutions. Appropriate natural ventilation to the building is one of the effective ways to reduce the negative impact of the use of air conditioners. To this end, combined with the basic principles of natural ventilation and some practical experience, analyzes the limitations of the design of natural ventilation system in modern architecture.
