一、充分利用直观教具构建基本的空间地理概念地理直观教具与现实地理事物相比较小,能把地理事物或现象置于学生的视觉感知范围内,形成表象,容易建立基本的地理空间概念,促进空间想象能力的形成。教具主要包括教学挂图、示意图、图片资料、地理模型、模具等。其中,教学挂图可以利于学生形成一个能自己把握的虚拟空间,为想象提供场地;示意图主要利于理解某些具有动态发展的地理现象;图片资料、模型、模具主要利于学生形成表象,为想象提供“素材”。
