美国受次贷金融危机的影响,失业率一度徘徊在8.00~10.00%之间,劳动力市场存在近千万的失业者、高校毕业生、跳槽等求职群体,他们存在迫切的“Job”信息服务需求。美国公共图书馆针对社会公众就业信息服务的现实需求,纷纷设置与之对应的服务项目,包括资源、服务、培训及其合作等。文章选择美国排名靠前的8家公共图书馆进行研究,从重视程度(网站布局与设计)、服务对象、信息资源与服务、培训课程、相关服务及社会合作几个方面展开,期望对国内图书馆的“Job”信息服务有所借鉴。
