煤矿井下瓦斯燃烧事故频发并易发展成为大范围火灾,在一定条件下能够转化为高强度的瓦斯爆炸,严重威胁井下工作人员和煤矿财产安全。通过对大量瓦斯燃烧事故案例的分析与总结,结合可燃气体燃烧基本原理、瓦斯流体动力学理论、煤矿火灾热动力学原理以及矿井火灾防治技术相关知识,从发生条件、发展过程、应急处理手段、与瓦斯爆炸事故的转化等几个方面分析了矿井瓦斯燃烧事故的灾害特点。从而为开展针对此类事故的防治理论及方法研究提供参考与借鉴。
