The authors note that the wart virus is a DNA-containing virus and many anti-DNA agents currently have some anti-viral ability. And less toxic. This article is a pilot study of the treatment of intractable warts as part of a system of this type. Twenty-four patients underwent experimental treatment. Aged 15 to 57 years old, average 35 years old. 16 patients warts limited to the foot; 5 cases of hand involvement only; 3 cases of hand and foot were involved. The number of warts in each patient is 1 to 20. Disease period of 1 to 21 years, an average of 4.6 years. All patients had at least two other forms of treatment prior to this treatment
