国外科学家曾通过对世界范围内的图书、档案载体褪变情况进行抽样调查,做出如下结论:“进入二十世纪以来,图书、档案载体褪变速率明显加快”。“1970年至1975年,这五年时间的损坏情况,比1700年至1800年整整一个世纪损坏情况要严重得多”。“造成损坏的因素,无非是酸、热、湿度、空气污染、光、真菌、昆虫、啮齿动物、正常损耗、人为等”。我们研究所对我国部分省、市、自治区档案保护调查结果,也证明了上述结论性意见具有一定的正确性。这就说明,随着工业化的发展,图书、档案损坏情况加快,抑制人类遗产记录、损耗的必要性和重要性就突出出来,加强档案保护技术就显得尤为重要。档案保护技术内容很多、很广,但综合起来,可在下列几个方面加以研究和发展。
Foreign scientists have conducted a sample survey on the fading of books and archives around the world and concluded as follows: “Since the twentieth century, the fading rate of books and archives has accelerated markedly.” “Between 1970 and 1975, the damage in these five years was far more serious than in the entire century from 1700 to 1800.” “The factors that cause damage are nothing more than acid, heat, humidity, air pollution, light, fungi, insects, rodents, normal wear and tear, artificial, etc.” Our institute’s investigation of archives protection in some provinces, cities and autonomous regions in our country also proves that the above concluding observations have some correctness. This shows that as the development of industrialization accelerates the damage of books and archives and highlights the necessity and importance of suppressing human heritage records and losses, it is particularly important to strengthen archival protection techniques. There are many technical contents of file protection, which are very broad. However, the technology of file protection can be researched and developed in the following aspects.
