英文和汉字是世界上使用人数最多的文字。然而,简捷的英文检字与繁难的汉字检字却形成了极为鲜明的对照。千百年来,汉字查检的难、繁、慢不知浪费了人们多少时间和精力。随着我国人民生活节奏的不断加快、经济与技术的高速发展、以及世界上学习汉语的人数的不断增加,汉字难查的问题会变得日益明显。通过英文和汉字检字法的对比并在英文简便快捷的检字法的启发下,笔者经过多年的钻研,终于为汉字找到了一种和英文类似的直接查检法——“字元分析法”(因汉字的形和音不统一,故汉字应有按形和按音两种查检法)。 English and Chinese are the most spoken words in the world.
