学习是为了完善自我,不是要去压倒谁;带着竞争的目的,不可能有学习的愉快。学校邀请我去为新生作入学讲话。报告结束时,有学生提问:“我们应当怎样学习中国文化?在面对外国学生时,我们怎样在竞争中取得优势?”这个学生的表达不够准确,他的意思,可能是以后去境外或是参加国际交流时,应当怎样体现中国文化的学习优势。我不觉得这个问题有什么意义,更何况不能鼓励学生这样思考问题,于是坦率地说:“为什么要‘竞争’呢?
