In the process of glomerulosclerosis, the study of synthesis and degradation of extracellular matrix (ECM) has received extensive attention in recent years. In vitro studies have confirmed that the three types of glomerular intrinsic cells can produce ECM, of which the most mesangial cells. Under hyperglycemia stimulation, mesangial cells secrete FN significantly, and in vivo observations revealed that fibronectin (FN) and other binding eggs are present during hardening of tissues and organs.
