湘玉８号是以自交系齐２０５作母本，Ｈ１５２作父本组配育成的半紧凑型早熟玉米单交种，１９９５—１９９６年参加湖南杂交玉米区域试验，应用Ｅｂｅｒｈａｒｔ和Ｒｕｓｓｅｌ模型对区域试验结果进行稳定性分析，结果表明湘玉８号丰产性好，各区试点都比对照种增产，两年平均比对照７３单交增产１１．８７％。其稳定性和适应性优于其他参试品种。
Xiangyu 8 is a semi-compact precocious maize single-breed crossed with Qi 205 as female parent and H152 as male parent. From 1995 to 1996, it participated in the regional experiment of hybrid corn in Hunan. Eberhart and Russel models were used to analyze the regional The results of stability analysis showed that Xiangyu 8 had a good yield, and all plots had a higher yield than the control, with an average increase of 11.87% over the two years compared with the control. Its stability and adaptability is better than other tested varieties.
