During the Second World War, the Japanese invaders set up a number of bacterial units in China and Singapore to form a battle network of bacteriological warfare. Bacillus anthracis is an important war agent for the Japanese bacterial unit. The Japanese invasion of China includes anthrax warfare in three parts: production, experiment and operation. In particular, the two anthrax warfare along the Zhejiang-Jiangxi border area was particularly cruel. The Japanese campaign of anthrax caused massive death and mutilation among Chinese civilians and caused great damage and pollution to China’s environment. However, due to the secrets of the Japanese army’s germ warfare and the cover of the United States, the legacy left by World War II has still not been solved.
