In our common sense, a gentleman seems to be a British boy wearing a bowler hat, a dark tuxedo, and a swastika. The lady seems to be a skirt with a tutu, a parasol, and a voice. French girl with a handkerchief pouting. The classmate Liu Bing of Wuhan wrote to us and said, “My gentleman is Gregory Peck, and the lady is Audrey Hepburn.” But in today’s campus, most of the walkers we walk by are dressed up. Sports boys in Korean pants, and cute girls playing with rabbits on their backpacks. So are the two classical terms of gentlemen and ladies really related to modern ones? What do you think of gentlemen and ladies? Are you a gentleman or a lady? Do you want to be a gentleman or a lady?
